A garden that wraps around the house and has three different entrances meaning safety and privacy were key issues. The garden is a combination of contemporary and formal styles; full of elegance and evergreen structure. The living area is divided into different zones for eating and cooking with a small outdoor kitchen, or soft seating with outdoor sofas. The raised pond acts to link the two spaces and provides a focal point with bubbling fountains and an informal ‘perch point’. The living area is separated from the lawn by a low open fence to prevent the dog escaping. Seating in the round at the end of the lawn with a firepit is the perfect spot to warm toes on a chilly evening.
