A large plot of land which will be turned into an eco-friendly, sustainable and unique green oasis in the heart of an urban area. The aim of the garden is to improve the look and feel of the local community and to develop greener and cleaner activities in order to reduce pollution and increase wellbeing amongst residents. It will be run entirely by volunteers from the local community. There will be woodland walks, a playground and cafe, a space for yoga or workshops, a bandstand, a large area of lawn with rollling banks and paths through long unmown grass, picnic areas, sunken trampolines, a tepee, and a community run kitchen garden. As well as all that It aims to be a creative space for upcoming artists and live performances.

The garden will be enlosed with a thornless native hedge to act as a wildlife corridor and it will be full of native shrubs and trees to attract benefical pollinating instects and birds. There are two beds with long flowering perennials for butterflies and bees and native ferns and bulbs under the existing trees. It should be a creative, inspiring and vibrant garden for the whole community to enjoy.
