A garden full of foliage, leaf form and imposing outlines, enhanced by new brick walls with dogtooth details to create a lovely backdrop for the gnarled olive tree, black lilyturf and tropical flowers in oranges and purples. The swimming pool is nestled behind a beautiful red-stemmed Japanese maple underplanted with box balls, and edged with low brick beds full of ferns, grasses and cascading water jets. Oversized pots with palms, fatsias, euphorbias and box balls are sited on the dining terrace, and dramatic lighting highlights the forms and create shadows.
