Formal Garden

Barnes

Constructed by The Landscaping Consultants

The client requested “a garden like they used to be”. Inspired by formal National Trust gardens such as Hidcote, we planted yew hedges to divide the garden, and to create maze style paths for strolling and meandering around the garden making it feel larger and using the full width of the garden. There are plenty of opportunities to stop and reflect on carefully sited benches and to admire the formal topiary, scented flowers, rose arches and statue. A garden full of twists and turns and surprises to discover as you walk around the garden.

“We are absolutely delighted with the garden you designed for us and extremely impressed by the courtesy and professionalism shown by you and the team who built the garden. We would have no hesitation in recommending you both.”
